The Meghalayan Age Limited (MAL), a Government of Meghalaya Undertaking, is hiring 1 Field Coordinator on a contractual basis for its operations based in Tura (Advertisement No: MAL/STORE/7/2026/01).

Key Responsibilities & Scope:

• Community Engagement: Mobilize and engage rural communities, artisans, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), producer groups, and local stakeholders.

• Field Coordination: Conduct and coordinate village visits, community meetings, training programs, vendor verification, product sampling, and other field activities.

• Artisan & Vendor Identification: Identify and document artisans, entrepreneurs, vendors, potential suppliers, and community-based resources.

• Product Sourcing & Documentation: Source local products and collect information on crafts, materials, production methods, pricing, availability, and community stories.

• Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain effective relationships with rural communities, institutions, artisans, vendors, SHGs, and other stakeholders.

• Project Support: Assist with product development, community-based activities, promotional initiatives, product storytelling, and content collection for the MAL Store and Design Hub projects.

• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain field records, photographs, craft/vendor/artisan details, and prepare field visit and activity reports for submission to concerned managers.

Eligibility & Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline (preference given to candidates with degrees/diplomas in Rural Development, Social Work, Management, or related fields).

• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in community mobilization, rural development, public relations, or artisan engagement (familiarity with the Garo Hills region is preferred).
